I tend to avoid auction houses that don't offer in house shipping as it creates a task for me to find a shipper. I have unfollowed their auction house.

Don't buy anything at their house As an international buyer they ask you to do a lot of things that you can't do they don't take cash they don't take credit cards and they have to book a pickup a week in advance If you don't have an appointment and you pick it up on site they don't give you the goods and their service attitude is terrible I get scolded for buying $20, 000 worth of stuff

See Above Comments. Cordier Auctions & Appraisals is always a pleasure to deal with. They are accurate in their description of items being offered and responsive to any questions presented to them. Pick-up following an auction is a breeze and staff is extremely friendly.

The products themselves are excellent. However, they used a extremely expensive company called Postal Connections, the shipping fee costed me 500USD WITHIN USA!!! what is a crazy price!! Avoid.

Of the 3 dozen other auction houses I pick up from, Cordier is street level and close to my car. The order is accurately picked w/an invoice ready to verify. Staff is very polite.

I understood the limited hours and 15 min windows during COVID but it's now clearly just for the convenience of certain favored customers. This last auction (and it will be my last) I could only pick up one day of the three, emailed them in advance and asked for a time; when the times were posted, those hours were already blocked out. They wouldn't let me add on saying they didn't have the manpower to pull additional items. They instead suggested their "preferred shipper" who could pick them up and store them (of course, for an additional fee). Shipper told me that in order to give a cost estimate he'd have to look at the items, but that Cordier would pull them for him to see. Realized the time they were going to do that for him was when I had asked to go!! Curious that they had the manpower for him, but not for me. And then I had to pay additional shipping, wait a week until I could get off work. and drive about 30 extra miles, all because I'm the "little guy". You need to treat all customers fairly.

Item was received quickly and was well-wrapped. My only issue was that my credit card on file with Live Auctioneers was charged immediately after the auction, although the auctioneer's listing said there were several days to pay. This was not the auctioneers fault, but evidently a Live Auctioneers policy. So, now I bid on Invaluable.

The only thing to watch out for is making sure that if you will pick your items up that you can make it when they can schedule you. Schedule pickup asap to get the time you want.

This is a Front End shop, once they slam your payment, they drop off what ever you bought at a Mail Service place that charges a 300 % mark up on what it should be. I ship alot of collector cards, and know that the MAXIMUM cost is usually $5; the standard cost for a single ungraded card is about. 60 cents. They wanted $18 to ship something I "won" at $20. I told them to keep it and resell it. This is not a house I was following, its easy to look at things with different houses. I learned a valuable lesson, only buy from Auction Houses with in house shipping. Make sure you read the policies for every house.
