I purchased a card at auction and was instructed to pay promptly and then arrange shipping services. I did just that and was then told shipping was 30 % of the hammer price. This is on top of the 27 % buyers premium & tax. It's a $100 baseball card. I was fully willing and expecting there to be some handling fee, even though they already charge absurd fees. I've had cards many multiples of this price shipped for far less. They put the onus on the customer to do the work, they offload not only the shipping, but also the transportation of the item to the shipper. They then stopped responding to me when I asked for some other options. Avoid at all costs.

My first time purchasing from Tremont. The two crystal pieces in a single auction lot were accurately described and beautifully photographed. Outside shipper was good as well, but do prefer in house shipping. Absolutely will follow Tremont's future auction offerings. Thank you.

I won two items and they were in impeccable condition. I used a third party shipper, and Tremont worked very well with them to quickly ship my items.

Unlike some other sellers, Tremont was transparent with the provenance of the item. I’m also very confident that the art was genuine because my friend is the artist’s son and vouched for its authenticity.
