The very best thing I like about Tremont so far is they watch for fake items. I like their description of item's. I am new to auctions and I had alot of questions on some items and processes and they were very helpful and followed up. The world is not perfect but these folks really put a good effort protecting their customers.

Tremont Auctions is a world class operation. The desriptions are perfect. And the shipper they suggested picked up, packed, and shipped my lot at what seemed like the speed of light, at a reasonable cost. I will make a habit of checking Tremont for future auctions.

It seems that they lack the expertise to date Chinese porcelain, and they are not willing to own their mistakes either. So don’t trust their descriptions in this area.

I have never had such fast service before. My payment was processed quickly, the painting was picked up by the shipper the next day a was out the door immediately. It was exceptionally well. I give 5 stars.

I bought this item online without having seen it in person. Accurate pictures. Third party shipping was fast, and items was professionally packed. Glad the auction house decided to bring this item to sale. It has damage (as described in the listing), but I love it.

It is very bad auction house. Their approach is maybe worst what i experienced. Before auction promised me that if I will won, that is not problem with consolidation (my lot was book and some pages was in frames) and they told me via email, that will put pages into book and it will be ready for shiping. But they did not do it! Shipping of the book and three frames with glass cost more then my lot in auction! And the only one who was communicate with me about it was man from delivery company, but nobody from auction house. Today-I have book without three pages and still waiting for shipping of three pages from US to my home in europe. I can't recommend this auction house.

This is a very fine and classy auction house and the lots they handle confirm that. I was thrilled at the lot I won and they were receptive in every way. Only thing that could use improvement is their shipping recommendation. The lot was superbly packed if not actual overkill which resulted in an unnecessarily high shipping cost which can definitely be a deal breaker for me. I will try them again though.

Pickup went very smoothly. Would definitely consider bidding with Tremont in the future.
