Shipping
No links to shippers Too many steps to get your item shipped. I’ve dealt with many auction houses that have this figured out. Tremont does not. It’s an easy fix.

The descriptions are sparse and not very informative. I emailed them to ask how many photos and got "an approximate" answer. There were actually two boxes when only one was photographed. The weight ended up being 44 pounds which they did not explain and shipping was horrendously expensive from this area. Ask lots of questions from this auction house. Also get ship quotes from three or more shippers as there was a sizeable difference between shippers.

Auction house good, payment process ok, shipping needs a lot of work
Not sure why the delay with processing payment (not the auction house fault??). Also the choice of a packaging and shipping company needs to be look at.-1 + months and still nothing. Photos and descriptions were nice and accurate, and their communications were great... …..

Quick and easy auction
I liked that the auction moved quickly and was very organized and so was the payment. I love my items and the pictures were accurate. If I look at auctions again I will look for one Tremont is conducting.

I came away very impressed with Tremont Auctions
I bought a chair that was well illustrated, adequately described and appropriately estimated. Following the auction, I asked for digital copies of the six photographs of the chair that appeared online and they were sent to me promptly. I came away being very impressed with Tremont Auctions.

What a fantastic lot!
I won one item, this huge lot of buttons. I expected a big package. It came in six boxes! Now, I know they don’t do their own packing and shipping. But that’s not the point. The pint is it was so much larger a lot than I expected. In addition, the buttons in the lot were fantastic, much better than expected. I’m so glad I bid on this lot. I’ll be watching their auctions in the future. Thanks, Tremont!
