A little difficult to negotiate pick up and delivery through auction house. Emails, release forms etc. A bit time consuming. Don't have to go through all this with the other auction houses. Could be an easier way. Overall satisfied though.

The pictures are not as good as it is necessary.

I purchased a knife described as 19th century. The knife arrived today and is of recent manufacture, aged to look old. I will never buy from this auction house again.

Communications need improvement, dealing with a auction house that doesn't ship can be a real pain!!!!!!!

Shipping was done by a third party, the local UPS store who I contacted myself. Their service and communication was very good. As for Tremont Auctions, they did not respond to questions about an item before and after the auction. Extremely poor communication on their part. They would not answer the phone or sent emails to several of my questions. No customer service on their part what so ever.

Back again. Just got shipping quote. Ouch! $280.00 Thanks again.

My bid was not accepted at the most crucial time of bidding and I lost the most important lot I was bidding on..... Auction results seem to indicate they had me bidding against myself on a lot Description of items was inaccurate on many items

This was my first transaction with Tremont, and I was very impressed with them. The owners went out of their way to contact me with condition reports before the sale. After the sale, I had a great conversation with one owner while making payment. Packing and shipping were excellent. Above all, the item bought was outstanding and I am completely satisfied with it. I will definitely be following future Tremont sales, and possibly consigning to them.

Tremont gave my shipper the wrong pedestal. I provided the requested release form for my item & my shipper's name/contact info (Don Hill, Antiques The Safe Way). Doug at Tremont then called me and said I had to use their shipper (which their terms/conditions say they do not provide) or they would cancel my purchase. I called Live Auctioneers today (6/28/17) and filed a complaint (Case # 38117). Hopefully Tremont will release my pedestal to my shipper. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Tremont nor would I bid with them again. Bill **********
