Very glad to see an Auction House, like Corbett's, who does pack in-house without fuss at reasonable fees, mitigating the typically high charges third parties, like UPS, tend to charge for packing/shipping.

Awesome experience all around! The staff at Corbett's Auction House is easily accessible and communicated promptly! I received my purchase within a couple of days! The items were even better than expected!!! I will definitely be purchasing from them again! Corbett's Auction House is honest and has the kind of integrity all auction houses should strive for!

Never received my winning lot. Not much to say about Corbett's as an auction house when a binding contract was made by me bidding and winning and paying for the item and then receiving an email a couple weeks saying they "LOST" the lot and refunded my payment. I missed out on something I really wanted. What happens to them? Nothing probably-just one less person who will be bidding on any auction they have in the future.

They picked a comic book with no type of protection, in a bubble mailer. The comic was bent in transit as there was also no indication that the inside contents could be damaged. Even an amateur eBay seller would have at least used a few scraps of cardboard or at the least spring for a small flat rate box. I emailed the auctioneer and their response was disappointing to say the least. Here is the correspondence: Michael, I'm sorry to hear about your comic book being bent. I put insurance on everything I send out that covers the amount spent by the buyers, next time I will sent it in a box to better protect it. But unfortunately once it leaves our hands and the USPS damages it that is on them. So please feel free to contact the USPS near you and see about setting up a claim so you may get your money back. I can also make sure that we only use FEDEX, it will be a tad more expensive but at least the Company takes care of peoples items properly. Sorry for any inconvenience this is or may be causing. I have the seller notes and that was not existent. I was charged 9.55 for shipping, for a flare rate envelope that did not protect the book I purchased. I have ordered comics before from various auctions and retailers and this was completely unacceptable. Not even a piece of cardboard used to support this, nor a note on the package to say "do not bend". I am assuming this is not the only comic you have ever shipped. Is this common practice? If there is no return policy, then how can we make this right? Kind regards, Michael
