I picked up this oversize item in person. Very nice.

My experience with World Auction was great but I did want to warn those reading the reviews that one of their recommended shippers is shady. Pak Mail 16024 Bellmore quoted me less than the other recommended shippers and then charged me 30 % more than their quote. Their explanation, after the items shipped, was that they used some sort of special packaging but my glasses came in a single box in bubble wrap and packing peanuts, nothing special at all. I paid $135 to ship 6 wine glasses. World recommends 2 other shippers (I think) so, buyer beware, go with any one but the one I used.

Contacted for condition, additional pictures and shippers. They were very prompt and helpful. Not the auctioneers problem. but 4 stars on shipping because the items was able to slide around in the box a bit (due to its weight) and could have probably been packed a bit better.

The shipper The UPS Store # 5 ********** Hempstead Turnpike East Meadow, NY 11 ******************** Fax Was directed to ship the stone too and table separately. They ignored this and the table arrived with a shattered stone top. I am still waiting for ups and the ups store to pay the claim. Grossly unhappy.

I WAS THE WINNING BIDDER BUT IT WAS ONE OF THE VERY FIRST TIMES THAT I PARTICIPATED IN AN AUCTION ON THIS SITE SO AFTER I MADE THE PAYMENT I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THE ITEM THAT I PURCHASED! "MIA CULPA!" I just assumed that the S & H was already taken care of. Obviously na ï vely so eventually I lost the Item or it became too expensive due to the storage fees so I gave up!
