Shipping Delayed, Item Arrived Damaged, and Auction House Has Been Non-responsive
I purchased a 1983 bottle of champagne at auction from this auction house. The auction was April 19th and the bottle was a gift that was needed by May 18th. After multiple emails asking about where the bottle was and indicating it was needed by May 18th, it finally arrived... on May 19th (one day after it was needed). Upon opening the package, I immediately smelled alcohol. The bottle was damaged near the cork, and the plastic wrap was covered in liquid. I took photos and and sent them to the auction house, but I did not receive a reply. I emailed again, and they replied asking for photos. I resent the photos and asked for confirmation they had received them. They did not reply. I emailed again after a few days-again asking for confirmation of receipt of the photos. This time, they replied and said they had forwarded my emails to ownership. After a few days, I emailed again, asking for an update. No reply. I then waited a few more days and emailed again. Still no reply. At this point, I feel like I was cheated by this company, and they are ignoring me in hopes I'll go away. I'm planning to open a ticket with liveauctioneers as well. Maybe between this public post, and a complaint to liveauctioneers, someone will care enough to get back to me.

I won't by wine from here again.
Wine purchased was a 63 and at 55. Wine was shipped to the wrong address, shipped in the HEAT on ground scheduled to take a WEEK if the address on the shipping label had been correct. Because it was not, the shipment was delayed and arrived after almost 2 weeks (13 days). Temperature in Texas has been in the 80's. Product was as described and would have been a good experience if the wine was not ruined in shipment which this likely was.
