It is a pit that a very good action house act like this

Shipping company offered a very high price and the only reason I accepted it is because I haven’t purchased but a couple items ever on LiveAuctioneers, And I thought this was the only price available! My item did not even ship for over three weeks. I was patiently waiting being sick with Covid and a sick parent for whom this was a gift. It never arrived in time. I paid a ton of money for the shipping and the jerks at the shipping company didn’t give a ********** that I had to pay a ton of money and wait a month to receive my item, this is a horrible shipping company that is over priced and once they have their clients money, they will ship it when they see fit. This was for my elderly, Very ill mom ‘ s birthday And it never arrived in time. This is wrong on every level! Change this shipping company! The guy there claimed he had a sick wife which every family has emergencies that come up. When one has a company they need to assign someone to get a hold of the people and tell them there’s going to be a bit of a delay. Maybe, refund half of their money. But no, this guy did not. I have a sick mom too, and this was for something special for her. I will never buy from your company again because of the shipping service, the lack of quality service, the exorbitant high fees for shipping items at their leisure, making the client wait and wait and wait When way too much much money was spent for shipping! What a rip off.

I’ve made several purchases from this auction house and they are amazing. They are very responsive, give accurate descriptions and run amazing auctions. We were in a hurry for our items to arrive. I called the shop and they took care of packing and ensuring our items were sent via fed ex for us. The customer service we received was above and beyond anything we have experienced in the past with any items we have won at auctions.

I had an extremely positive experience in my dealings with Louvre. The item I acquired through their auction was in impeccable condition and they made transaction flow seamlessly and effortlessly. I intended for it to be a last minute Christmas gift for my wife and was able to forego shipping and drive to their warehouse in Los Angeles to pick it up. When I arrived they had already wrapped the item (a Lalique vase) in bubble wrap but promptly unwrapped it so that I could inspect the condition of the vase which as I mentioned, was pristine. I found them to be genuinely friendly and accommodating and I look very much forward to dealing with them again! Also, there is convenient parking in back of the warehouse. It was all very smooth from tip to toe.

There were no details on description lots. And its base price was much higher than the value of the material.

I appreciated their quick responses when I checked in a few times to see if they were open for me to retreive my items in LA. Once I arrived, they were kind, very detailed directions and ready for me! I appreciated that more than one would know as I needed to get back into the LA traffic quickly. Excellent value on item received. Auction house doesnt have in house shipping but after calling them and advising that the cost of shipping obtained from outside shipping agencies was over $100 the gentleman without hesitation told me that if I send them a prepaid label he would pack and ship my item at no additional cost to which he did same day he received my label. You cant ask for better service. I will definitely keep an eye on their auctions and buy again. Excellent service and an example to follow by some others in the industry.

Went the extra mile to ensure delivery was complete and on time for a Christmas present.

I will never again bid on any item that is part of any Louvre Antique auction.
