I have contacted amex because of double billing. Have not been able to get Charish or live auctioneers on the phone. Their offices in Manhattan are empty. They are a nightmare to deal with.

Bad experience

Sent email to add asking about their return policy as cushion was defective. No reply. Tufting is missing in one corner. White stitching (not noticeable in auction photo) looks awful against the dark patterned pillow. I want to return it but there doesn't seem to be a policy for defective workmanship and material that is deteriorating.

I visit this auction house periodically and never fail to find something that I must have. I buy for my shop and me personally. You will thoroughly your experience. And the shipping is very reasonable and punctual. Enjoy

Wonderful! Purchase was as described. Shipping was seamless.

It was easy to get set up to bid and once I won the auction it arrived at my house a few days later.

I ordered 4 porcelain tureens and one arrived broken. I’ve received damaged items before without any resolution through Chairish. I decided to take a break from Chairish after the first incident and then tried again. It’s been great until this so hopefully I get resolution soon or I might have to say goodbye again; (

We at returning customers of Chairish. They have always been great to work with. Our last purchase really showcased their excellent customer service. An item I was interested in didn’t sell at auction so I asked them about it. They reached out to the seller for me and helped us work out a deal that worked for us both! They also arranged really reasonably priced shipping. They took care of it all! It couldn’t have been easier. Truly awesome service!

It has been 2 weeks since I purchased some items in a buy-now Chairish and one item still has not been shipped.

Charish Auction does not respond in a timely manner and does not call to solve issues (I provided my number to them in emails). I have been charged twice for my item. I will be contacting my credit card company. Perhaps they can get Charish Auctions to answer them! Will never buy from them again.

I will have no reservations about bidding again with Chairish Auctions. Everything went smooth and I did not wait stupid long for my item.

It has been over a month since I won and paid for the lot I won, including the corresponding shipping. After failing to receive a shipping update a week post-auction, I contacted Chairish who let me know the seller is not communicating. I crossed my fingers and a week later asked for an update, but Chairish told me, again, the seller still was unresponsive. After a month past, it was clear the shipper was not going to release my item, so I asked Chairish to please cancel and refund my invoice since they could not mediate the situation and fulfill their duty as the auction house ensuring the item reached its new owner. That's when Chairish ghosted me; ignoring both messages since their last correspondence with three weeks ago. It's not unreasonable to refund an order given the fact it's been seven weeks since the auction date and the seller has ghosted the auction house. But the most frustrating part is having been ignored by Chairish.

They're just what I expected. They're beautiful!

The items I won were pictured, and BRASS, and they are not. What a waste of money.

Would never deal with them again

The whole experience was seamless. The processing and shipping was timely. It was all done so the item was received at my home without my giving it a second thought. Will certainly buy from them again.

THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULENT. I PUT A BID ON AN ITEM AND THEY DECIDED TO NOT INCLUDE MY (HIGHER THAN MINIMUM). THEY PASSED THE ITEM AND RE-LISTED IT FOR SALE FOR $9, 000 MORE THAN MY WINNING BID. i BOUGHT A GUSTAVE BAUMAN PRINT IN DECEMBER. IT NEVER ARRIVED. I PURCHASE THREE MORE IN JANUARY AND THEY NEVER ARRIVED. SELLER SAYS THEY NO LONGER HAVE THE ITEMS. I WAITED MONTHS FOR THEM AND HAVE ALREADY REGIFTED THEM. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE JOKERS. THEY WILL SELL YOU SOMETHING BUT SELL IT TO SOMEONE ELSE AT A HIGHER PRICE BEFORE THEY SEND IT

Unfortunately I'm almost positive that my item was stolen after delivery. I can't see giving anything but a positive review.

Good price/Received the art in good time/well packaged.

It took a very long time for my purchase to ship. Repeated emails to Chairish either were not responded to or took days to get a response. I probably will not buy from them again.

As someone who has been buying at auctions for over 55 years, I can say that this is one of the 2 or 3 worst auction houses that I have ever had to deal with. Completely unresponsive to any of my questions or concerns.

Extremely pleased with this etching, We’ll go on the same wall as my Death of the Virgin by Rembrandt and some old dude, an earl, after van Dyck.
