Sadly, upon slight deconstruction, I discovered that the item was not as described. If this item was made to deceive, then fraud was perpetrated. The item is new with parts that would not be used by Native Americans. The inside was made of coiled wire, the beads are new, the leather is new and made to look old, the stone was made to look old by applying a coat of polish (along with the whole piece. I am very dissatisfied and consider this buy a total loss.

This was my first time bidding in an auction and winning via this format. I was concerned that trying to also get the item shipped safely and in a timely manner would be a hassle and a headache since shipping was being handled outside of auction house. Everything ran smoothly and Kris answered the phone promptly on two occasions to answer my questions and that eased my worries. Definitely hope to bid again with this auction company. Thanks!

They aren’t always the easiest to coordinate with when it comes to local pickup and I really wish they would take more time to mark items such as these I’m leaving a review on as PAID instead of PAYMENT DUE as it has caused me to get denied registration to other auction houses more than twice already but I still enjoy buying from them & will continue to do so...

Good auction house and pretty much exactly what they say makes it work well. My biggest pet peeve is the shipping is handled by outside company... which blows the whole thing up for me. I have bought hundreds of things from auction houses and hundreds of shipping experiences. Too often the shipping company (entirely not connected to the auction house) has you over a barrel and will choose to over pack, over ship and over charge you for your item. It is the choice of the auction house to kick this part of the service out to a second party, while still charging the buyer premium. In this case, (and so many these days) the shipper sends me a box within a box, wrapped in bubble wrap and anything else they feel they can legitimately charge you. I ended up paying way too much to ship my little purchase. I know I could ship this for less than $20 but was charged 4 times that. All this said, this is a good auction house, but I will be avoiding purchasing with auction houses that do not have a better handle on the shipping cost.
