Col. Steve Zeiler started Abingdon Auctions in 1992, in a large air conditioned warehouse in Abingdon, Maryland. In the beginning weekly Auctions offered "Truckload" bargains of New and Salvage Merchandise. Col. Steve opened the current Auction House in Tavares, FL in 2010, specializing in Estates and Business Liquidations. Also, Col. Steve decided to keep the Abingdon Auctions name, for a couple of reasons. Number 1, the name would be listed on top in all local phone books, and Number 2, the expense in startup printing could cost $$$. Col. Steve prides himself with a clean, friendly, and honest business atmosphere. Until now, Abingdon Auctions only dabbled with online sales, but times have changed this business, and he now looks forward to a sucessful online business, and a pleasing and enjoyable auction experience for his online bidders.

Auction house was rude and insulting. Their descriptions and photos were misleading and inaccurate. When I asked for a resolution they suggested that I over paid for an item because I have a bidding addiction or something and refused to accept responsibility for their misleading auction. I will not do business with them again.
