Excellent auction house, The items are exactly as advertised. Good shipping service too. I will buy from them again.

[ UPDATED: Auctioneer resolved bidder's concerns, and bidder updated 1-star review to 5-stars. ] They call themselves Antiques and Art so I assumed the wooden Chinese lidded box I bid on was a vintage piece, with the quality and craftsmanship of such an item, but when it arrived I could see that it was a contemporary piece like you'd find in Pier 1, with wood grain that looked like it was painted on and just generally cheap looking hardware like you'd find on a mass-produced item. At the very least the auction house should have identified this as a modern piece.

I lost several items because of the various osbstacles to bidding. In each case these were one-of-a-kind items for which I would have paid much more. Very displeased Gerald

I can't think of anything that would make this experience better, quicker, easier or more pleasant.

Had trouble reaching auction house for shipping instructions. Shipper never did send me an invoice. Finally got my package.

I felt perhaps that they were winging it a little as to shipping info, plus it appears that the "shipping" recco ended was located at the auction house itself. Did receive the items tho.

The item, paperweight that I bought, was much more beautiful than the photo. I was very happy with this purchase. It cost a little more to ship it, but it arrived quickly & in excellent condition, so I guess it was worth the extra cost. Antiques & Art International was very professional & I would buy from them again. Thanks Sonia

These are good people with quality items. They are NOT to be confused with Antiques and Modern in West Palm Beach, run by Scott, who is a crook. Know that I've dealt with lost of auction houses and I have repeatedly contacted LiveAuctioneers about the bogus dispute lodged by Scott that has some of your other auction houses declining my ability to bid. I've also had continuing problems with my password. Your people have received all of the supportive info that you need to remove the dispute. You have taken no action on my behalf. Please investigate this and make the dispute go away. All but the disputed items have been paid for. Do your customers a favor and cancel Scott and his company from your auction house listing. He misrepresents artwork, sells damaged goods without noting the problems, and is a thief. I'm surprised you haven't had more complaints against him. This other auction house that you have questioned me on is a winner. William Stuart, FL
