Charlie is the best. It took longer than expected for him to receive funds from Liveauctioneers so he covered our shipping. I highly recommend Finger Lakes!

Felt the shipping price was very high. I was charged $23 for shipping and it actually cost $8.80. Not good practice.

There isn’t a more trustworthy and all together friendly auctioneer that I know of. Always a pleasure participating in Finger Lakes Estates one of a kind auctions.

I purchased a "Picasso aquatint etching" from Charlie Dorsey at Finger Lakes Estate & Auction Co. on July 8 2017 vialiveauctioneers.com, along with his absolute guarantee of authenticity: "Additionally, we will absolutely refund your money if the piece turns out to be not as described. All we ask is for some type of indisputable evidence. Not necessarily scientific evidence but something more than a gut feeling." (email communication from Mr Dorsey on July 25 2017). Having since consulted three eminent print experts in Paris, who after examining the work reached the unanimous conclusion that it is an inauthentic copy, I have sent this information to Mr Dorsey, along with the relevant communication from these experts (including a formal written attestation from one of them), and have duly returned the work to him, requesting reimbursement as agreed. He does not answer emails and I find this blatant refusal to communicate both unprofessional and highly contemptuous. I have since contactedliveauctionners.com bidder support, and I trust that I may count on them to assist in rectifying this grievous matter as soon as possible. regretfully, Dr Mark Alan Paris FRANCE **********
