Was upset that after several emails and calls, I was unable to contact this action house to pick up my lots. Additionally I learn (without notice) that there have move an hour north. Definitely some communication and marketing challenges that need to be addressed

Absolutely unreachable. Auction description stated that the auction house will work with LiveAuctioneers on shipping; no such option actually existed AND I was charged in full, without any prompt, seconds after auction ended, without being able to even review the total. Auction house ENTIRELY unreachable afterwards. Requesting full refund now 4 weeks later, after at least 6 e-mails and reaching out to LiveAuctioneers support. Absolute fiasco-first after at least a dozen of very successful transactions on the platform.

The only shipping offered was over 4 times the amount paid for the poster. What should have been rolled up in a tube and ground shipped was quoted at almost $500 within the country. I can purchase posters directly from the Mucha foundation overseas for much less and they have COA.

This clock was NOT described properly by the action house. It has been modified with a quartz movement-but NOT identified as so modified. This is bad business that the auction shop MUST state-yet it did not. This is crucial to any collector. The clock box has missing parts which were NOT identified. Basically t This is a pig in a poke item. I should be obtaining a 100 % refund.

Cassie is always a pleasure to work with. Very responsive and professional. I was a little disappointed that three lots were pulled after settlement. But mistakes happen.

The photos were not exactly complete and nor was the description. The glass piece actually had two breaks and not just one. The second broken piece was not in the photos and there was only the one piece to use to try and repair the Chihuly. To be fair, it was sold "as is" but the description and photos could have been better.

I have recently bid and won a lot containing four murano glass sculptures. They were rare hard to find pieces and I was happy to find them. the description by auction house in writing for the lot stated that there were no cracks chips or repairs to any of the pieces. With this information I bid high as I thought I was bidding on four undamaged pieces or so I thought. Unfortunately when they arrived I immediately noticed that one of the pieces had two chipped wings and someone had previously tried to repair the damage prior to the auction. The photos in the listing also did not show the damage. I contacted the auction house immediately and sent several photos to show the damage which was undeniable. The damage did not occur during shipping as there were no pieces in the packing and you can tell someone tried to repair the damage. At first the auction house responded back and forth but slowly dragging it out until now it’s been over two weeks since our last conversation. In our last conversation I was told they would get back with me with a decision that we could possibly agree on. I had suggested a partial refund for the cost of one piece if I were to keep the damaged one as all four pieces were the same design and of equal value. I also offered to send the one damaged piece back for a higher refund amount for that piece. a piece of damaged one of a kind art if damaged the value of that piece goes down tremendously and not worth the value that I bid and paid for. This was an expensive lot on handmade vintage art that cannot be reproduced. It is now over a month since I have purchased this lot and was trying to give the auction house a chance to rectify the discrepancy before I wrote my review. Instead I feel like they were just waiting for me to stop contacting them. I would not recommend purchasing from this auction house as they are dishonest and only care about making a sale. They definitely do not care about an individual that bids in their auctions. Stay away!

1. Condition was described as "good" for the elephant family sculpture but it wasn't. There were two areas where the finish was ruined, but these were not clear from the photos due to resolution and (perhaps on purpose) focus. 2. Be aware that this auctioneer will autopay via the LiveAuctioneers service immediately upon the conclusion of the auction. Other auctioneers wait typically several days, which allows me to contact them and arrange to wire funds directly to them. Joshua Kodner's policy cost me an extra 4.28 % on a ~ $6000 purchase (LiveAuctioneers 'Autopay fee plus tax thereon). 3. They don't respond to emails.

25-dollar item that they wanted $500 dollars to ship, come on get serious here.

Everything was easy and smooth once I won the auction. All I had to was pay and boom there was my item. Loved how easy they made it!!!

I have purchased from Joshua Kodner before and will do so again. They take their time to explain the item purchased. They give you options and my item is A plus so far! I appreciate honesty! I love my item; perfect and rare.

Very happy with auction house. I had to call to see if art had been picked up. Spoke to a very nice lady who checked, it had not. About 2 hours later she called me back to say it was picked up. Never received a call from UPS, and I called or emailed them 6 times.

Item was exactly as described. Billing and shipping were prompt and efficient. Mark at the UPS Store did an exceptional job. Contacted me immediately, gave me a reasonable price. painting was packaged very well and he shipped it to meet my schedule. Would definitely bid with them again.

I purchased an item on November 16th which UPS picked up and I paid them on the 18th November. The store told me it was shipped on the 18th. Two weeks later no package. I called and was told oh we sent it out yesterday. Still no package. I reached out to the auction house and they contacted UPS for me. Next I am told they found the item but it was picked up by a different UPS store. (so up till now they have been lying about everything). Now I am told it will go out next day. I told them I was flying on 16th (leave on 17th early) and it was a present for my 94 year old mother. Today I receive an email demanding an additional $160 plus to have it flown to me in order to get it to me by 16th. They expect me to pay for their errors. I have now reported this company to the BBB as I don't know what else to do. I don't even know if they have the item. I have repeatedly tried calling no one ever answers or will call me back. I have asked for a check to refund the item plus shipping (Yes I bought insurance) but so far they will not give me my money back. So basically they have lost or stolen the item and refuse to refund. I would be extremely careful using this company as a shipper. I buy regularly from auction houses but will never deal with this shipper again as they are obviously not above bored. They were quite open with their description of the pieces, but as I was purchasing artwork and was picking up the pieces, I got chance to see them handle the product. Unfortunately, it appears that all the artwork was set on a concrete floor and the bottom of the frame was supporting the piece under a 2x4 lumber rack. When the employee went to get the piece they slid it against the concrete and therefore scratched the frame causing extra damage to a frame that was already listed as damaged. At the price I obtained the pieces for, I couldn't complain too much, but would have liked to see that they preserved the pieces to the best of their ability as opposed to assuming damaged is damaged and it doesn't matter. Otherwise, they were very nice to work with and have a great selection.

I am writing to share my extremely frustrating experience with Joshua Kodner Auctioneers, which has yet to be resolved despite my numerous attempts to get a response. On September 14, 2024, I won two lithographs by Richard Lindner (framed) at your auction, each for $50. The payment was processed automatically via my linked card. However, I was later informed by your shipping partner, The UPS Store # 0288, that the cost to ship the items would be $229. This was clearly an excessive amount, so I immediately responded, requesting that the lithographs be shipped in a tube without the frames to lower the shipping cost. After that, I received no further communication. Since September 17, 2024, neither Joshua Kodner Auctioneers nor The UPS Store has responded to my emails or messages. On October 10, I reached out to LiveAuctioneers support, who have been trying to contact your auction house and the shipping service. As of today, November 14, 2024, I still have not received a response from either party. Judging by other reviews I have seen, I am far from the only one who has encountered significant issues with Joshua Kodner Auctioneers when it comes to receiving purchased lots. It seems that receiving paid lots from this auction house is turning into an ongoing ordeal for many buyers. At this point, I am still waiting for either a refund or for the lithographs to be sent in a tube at a more reasonable shipping cost. I am beyond frustrated with the lack of communication and the complete disregard for customer service. Buyer beware – this auction house seems to have major issues when it comes to fulfilling orders and providing basic customer support.

Joshua Kodner was quick to respond to my question, very professional and the Murano horse I bought was prettier than the pictures. Thank you! Will definitely buy from you again. Shipping I didn't get what was agreed upon but that has absolutely nothing to do with the auction house.
