Riverside Gallery misrepresents the items they sell as they manufacture multiple similar inferior items and then use an old appraisal of a higher quality item to market the piece for sale. I have seen the exact same necklace and appraisal that I purchased on your site at least 6 times since I purchased mine just over a month ago. And there are several other pieces that are marketed and sold in the same manner. When I received my ruby necklace it was obviously and significantly different than represented. I immediately took it to a certified gemologist to have it appraised and the resulting value was 28 % of the value Riverside represented. Discrepancies from what was represented included smaller stone sizes, use of composite stones, low grade commercial rubies and significantly less carats than represented. When I initially contacted a representative with Riverside, he offered to refund my purchase price if I shipped it back to him or he would offer a small refund and I could keep the piece. I feel it’s more important to expose this firm’s practices to future potential victims and save them the same frustration I have experienced. I will also be reporting this transaction to the authorities.

This auction house provided items as listed with certifications for how product items were described-brand new-and came in lovely velvet boxes. I received the items about 2 days after purchase. I would shop with this auction house again.

This was my first experience with Riverside. The item was exactly as described and was shipped to me very quickly. Will definitely bid in their auctions again.

I bid on an item based upon the "certificate of authenticity" which stated the item was value at $41K. I won the item and made payment. When I received the item in the mail the "Certificate of Authenticity" had been change to $23K. I emailed both the Auction House which states they are not responsible for anything.... and I contacted Riverside Galleries for an explanation and they have failed to respond. I will now in the process of contesting the charge on my credit card. BE AWARE and check your Certificate. Thank goodness I printed the information of the value the day of the auction and the value that I received.

I purchased a ring that was said to be a size 6 … in reality it was a 5.5 … having it resized was not what I budgeted for! Disappointing, but otherwise the product was as expected

This stone is breath taking and a one of a kind. I will be watching for earrings, a pendant or bracelet. Decided to take my item to the jeweler to see if it was real was so disappointed when he said it was glass fill and not really and the most it value was $200 dollar more than what i paid and more than what your company said it was value this IS A SCAM

After I bought this I noticed they were selling the same item in a later auction. Although they never said it was unique I was still surprised when I saw another being sold. Same picture even. Usually I expect auction items of jewelry to be one of a kind pieces. My bad. Still happy with the piece, but less so now that I see it is just one of many. Also the photo was slightly misleading as it looks like it is a jade circle with a jade interior. In reality the interior is just a hole.

Nice items but fees stink, they dive up cost by 100-300/item.
