When payment is expected immediately shipping shouldn’t take nearly a month. When questions are asked a response should be returned.

Only received automated communications, but they did an awesome job packing the painting and the shipping price was totally reasonable. Photos very accurate. Could be a bit faster or more communicative, but I will buy from them again.

Miss represented 2 lots
Am a new customer! I bought from them I lot 14 sterling silver pocket watches, and 2 lots of custom jewelry total was $1589.2 customs jewelry they supposably its unsearched and it's not true the 2 lots are searched to the bones, left only the junk cannot even sell it and the silver pocket watches wrapped in one plastic bag many broke on shipping. I massage the auction house 2 times to complain they ignore me and never respond to me and that's very rude and disrespectful. thanks for reading this.

The costume jewelry lots referenced were sold on consignment and were cataloged and offered as unsearched estate material. We do not acid test costume jewelry lots, and we made no guarantees or representations regarding the presence of gold, diamonds, or other precious materials. Any determination that the lots were “searched” is entirely subjective and represents personal opinion rather than a verifiable fact. As with all estate and discovery lots, results vary considerably. Some buyers purchase such material hoping to discover hidden value, while others purchase for wear, resale, parts, design, or artistic repurposing. We clearly presented high resolution photographs of the offered material and encouraged bidders to review all images carefully prior to placing bids. Regarding the pocket watches, we were not provided with any photographs or documentation showing shipping damage. Had we received such information promptly upon delivery, we would have been able to review the matter and assist with a shipping claim or return request accordingly. Please also note that immediately following major auctions, we are handling a very large volume of shipping, pickups, invoicing, and client communications. While we make every effort to respond promptly, there may occasionally be delays during peak post auction periods. We apologize if our response time did not meet your expectations. We value all clients and always strive to conduct business professionally, fairly, and transparently.

Friendly staff easy to work with
I picked up my item 2 weeks after the auction. The auctioneer was very accomodating in arranging the pick up and he was a nice guy to boot!

Very quick and efficient
Within 3 days, Gold Coast had the payment for item and shipping processed (in-house, which was the best rate) and item packaged and ready for delivery company pickup. Package arrived two weeks later (about the fastest I have received any auction item). Also, the Live Auctioneers invoice was a little confusing, but the guys at Gold Coast enthusiastically answered my questions over the phone. Great experience!

Terrible experience
During the live auction there was a notification that I had won. Then more bids were excepted. I did win, but at a higher price than when I was originally to have won. I called Gold Coast and was told it was Live Auction’s fault. The my original shipping fee was cancelled. I had to pay again with credit card. No idea or explanation on why. Then the coat arrived. What a joke! Anyone with a little vintage clothing background could see that the coat is not WWII vintage. Terrible experience. Would like to get my money back.

Great customer service
When I received the beautiful antique clock, the package showed significant signs of damage. When I unpacked the clock, it was damaged beyond salvage. The shipper, Live Auctioneer, failed. However, Gold Coast Auctioneers stepped up, filed a claim and fought for a full refund for the item. Excellent customer service!!!!!!

Absolutely by far the worst experience I’ve ever encountered in the years of buying and selling merchandise still waiting on a refund had to go do the BBB complaint and don’t ask Live auctioneers for any help because they’re worthless

It's Funny How This Person Did Not, however, Post The 200 + Positive & 5 Star Reviews on our auction platform. She Also Has Chosen Not to Discuss The Profanity-Ridden emails Sent Through The Platform or How She Took 14 Separated Bags of Jewelry, Went Through Them all, And Then Dumped Everything Into a Single Box & returned it Without Prior Authorization. This Was Also Done With The Sterling Silver Items. Due to this, it takes a Great Deal of Time & Effort to Now Have to Sort Through What Was Sent. As a Rule, We Offer 10-14 Days Prior to The Auction For Questions & Concerns to be Addressed. Which Was Not Taken Advantage of. We, Here at Goldcoast Auctioneers, Take Great Pride in Our Business & Hold a Very Good Rating With Our Customers & Strive to Work With Customers on Any Issue.
