Given the % fee, the descriptions should have been more extensive.

I paid immediately but no one sent me an email to let me know they received payment. So I had to call to find out that yes they had my payment in full. Then I asked if I could pick it up the next day and even though I was paid in full I had to wait a week to pick it up at the warehouse. OK fine noon on Tuesday not great for me but they were not flexible. So I take the appointment. The morning I am to go I get an email titled “shipping” and am informed that the guitar will be packed and shipped to me for $200. I to call to say I’ve made arrangements to come pick it up, and they were like, with who? I said Susan Jaffe and they were like right she never told us. So off I go to the warehouse, 110th St. and first Avenue in Manhattan, for 12 o’clock appointment. Kim was there, and she was very nice but very overwhelmed. I waited in my car for well over a half an hour for my guitar to come down and, as I’m leaving With just the guitar I ask her shouldn’t there be some kind of Providence paperwork something? She said, of course you should have gotten an email from the office. I was like nope. So then she had to go back upstairs into the office and spent more time looking for a folder that went with the guitar. The whoIe thing was pretty unprofessional but I do not think it was Kim’s fault.

Having bid on many absentee auctions, I was thrilled to get my item at less than my highest, left bid. I'm aware that some auction companies will "ghost bid" items, but this auction house is completely above board and reputable! Thanks so much for your great communication and post-auction service.

Taking an aweful long time to get my things

The staff at Guernsey were great throughout the entire process.

Shipping very Timely and much much higher than my usual shipping charges

Taking a long time to process... money taking from my account and processed a week later... awful slow... still no items received... been 3 weeks

Super high buyers premium and even higher shipping costs. Very disappointed in the overall experience.

The auction house never answered my emails. I had to call them to arrange for payment. I thought the 25 % premium was high compared to other auction houses that have better reputations. The options for mailing my winnings were nil. The only option given was with UPS and their fees were outrageously high. Almost $70 for about a pound of product mailed. Separate fee for signature confirmation and a separate fee for very pricey insurance The auction was presented well. The auction was conducted professionally. Overall, however I felt a little let down taking into consideration the entire experience.

Check for items won cleared nearly two weeks ago and I am still waiting for someone to contact me about getting items shipped, unacceptable.

Courtney Dawley from Guernseys was EXTREMELY helpful to me and helped me set up the shipping through a local United Parcel store near them. The people at the United Parcel store did a wonderful packing job and the guitar arrived without any problems. I truly can't wait for the next Guernseys Auction. You may share my answers with Guernseys.

Where's my item? I bought it on the 25th of feb. it's March 16th. Check cleared on the 9th. WTF? RFG

2 of the item were badly damaged. Auction house did not disclose those damages until I picked up the items. Bad situation when you're dealing with tens of thousands of dollars.

I contacted them about payment. Never heard a thing. Sent them a check. Silence. Emailed a question about shipping. More silence. I do not have the guitar. No messages from Guernsey. At this point, I'd be happy to get my money back and forget the whole thing.

I bought 1 coin for $400 and they wanted to charge me $49 to ship the coin 15 miles... It is basically charging me 2 buyers premiums... I would never use that auction house again... Their staff is very disrespectful and uncaring about anything but you paying them for anything they ask
