Fraud. I returned the item and have not been reimbursed.
I purchased this painting in the October of 2025. I was told that the item would come with appropriate provenance, but when I received it, the provenance was insufficient. I discussed this with Dalshire, and the team was responsive and easy to work with. They acknowledged my concerns about the proffered provenance, and agreed to accept the return of the item, and unwind the transaction. Dalshire sent me a FedEx label in January for the return, and I returned the item immediately. Some days later, Dalshire acknowledged receipt of the return. However, as of today Dalshire has NOT YET refunded me for the painting. I have no painting, and Dalshire simply kept my funds. Since mid-January, I have contacted Dalshire and LiveAuction once a week inquiring about the funds. LiveAuctions to their credit has tried to facilitate a refund, but has had no success. Dalshire simply refuses to refund the amount it owes me, and it has offered no reason or justification.

They sent me the wrong ring and never remedied the situation.
I have had several wonderful experiences with this auction house but this time things did not go well. I won a ring that I wanted and that was in my size, and I automatically paid for that ring. However, I was sent a different ring that I do not want, and that is not in my size. I contacted Dalshire International and they messaged that they would send me a return label so I could return the incorrect ring, but they still have not sent me the return label. They have not sent me the correct ring, either. I don't know what has happened to change the quality of customer service given by this auction house.

Didn't honor commitment
Item description was NOS but item was not NOS. Item was missing original box and paperwork. Further the item pictures in the auction did not match what was received. Via a telephone conversation with the Auction House, it was agreed that they would accept the return but never reimbursed my payment. I made numerous attempts to contact the auction house through Liveauctions messaging system. All documentation was added to the Liveauction messaging system, showing pictures and shipping status. This had to be resolved through a credit card dispute.

item broken not as described
I was excited when I saw the watch and won the bid. The watch took two weeks to receive and was not in working order. It took another week to get John to accept the broken time piece for a return and now three weeks later I'm still having to hound him for my refund. Buyer be where. Live Auctions has suspended Dalshire from holding any further auctions. Seems a little suspect all over 1k.

Overall Happy but Bidding seemed questionable
I bid on numerous items that I was outbid on. However when the auction closed I was the winning bidder. The only explanation that makes sense is that bids were retracted very late in the auction and this left the next highest bod as the winner. Although I did want the items, I feel like the bidding was inflated by these bids and resulted in me spending more than I normally would have.

Awful, Awful, Awful. words cannot describe how terrible they have been
I won an auction for a painting, I paid for it next day through live auctioneers. After 2 weeks I hadn't heard anything regarding the shipping, and actually I no longer wanted the item, but thats a different story. After getting zero response by contacting them through Live Auctioneers, I found their phone number and called and left a message. Within an hr I got a call back from somebody there who explained to me that in order to ship the painting they would have to de frame it or cut it in 1/2, WHAT? LOL. the item is a large painting and they said they could not ship it at the $100 shipping price that was in the auction listing. They said they were quoted $500. The listing also said it was custom framed, so they couldn't ship it like that. blah blah, I was cool with not getting it and just wanted my money back as I wasnt getting what was described in the listing. Cut to about a week or so later and 0 response from Dalshire, so I emailed them again and a woman named Carol responded with "we have contacted Live Auctioneers and we are awaiting their response and will let you know. Weeks go by and I follow up with Carol and she is simply a ghost now and not responding. I then reach out to customer support at Live Auctioneers and they say that Dalshire hasn't contacted them.. I go back and forth with Live Auctioners and Dalshire followups.. I even CC the Live Auctioneers service rep with the dalshire people and even attach the email from carol...... zip, nada,.. dead silence from Dalshire.. I even called again today, got someone's cell phone who's voicemail was full and recieved a text saying" can I call you later , welp guess what./no call back nothing.. Live Auctioneers says they continue to look into it blah blah.. bottom line is more than a month later I have received no refund and I am about to dispute with my credit card company and explore more legal options what a shame! ihad won something b4 from Dalshire andhad 0 issues. never again!

Bat What?
Expressing my concerns regarding another Andy Warhol wannabe entitled "Batman Insigna". This "Warhol" lot is a decorative, reproduction, commercial print, fake Andy Warhol artwork and I will explain how I came to this conclusion. Warhol did reference Batman imagery in the 1960's (notable the Batman paintings tied to pop culture and to his 1964 Batman Dracula movie), but those works have a very specific graphic language and provenance. This is not a documented Warhol composition but rather a modern fan art or commercial graphic design. Also, the "Andy Warhol" signature on this lot is a commonly forged style: overly smooth, decorative and placed to sell the piece. The verso certificates have no central authority unless it's from a RECONIZED source. Anyone can print a COA stamp. A COA has real weight only if it comes with a verifiable history, a recognized art foundation or estate and a reputable third-party authenticator (with a serial number you can verify). Although the Warhol Foundation & Warhol Estate stamps appear legitimate, they are authentic to what exactly? Bottom line is this piece is for decorative homage piece, commercially produced, not an original fine-art work and has no collector or resale value. The described cosignment information, "a private party from Eastern Europe" can be contested and appears on practically all of Dalshire International's art auction pieces. The best part of the item description is the fact that Dalshire believes and promotes a ridiculous, over-inflated, secondary auction market estimate for this piece between $80k to $150k. I aquired this "fakery" in April of 2025 and there is no action needed on Dalshire's end (as from prior experience, it would be argumentative and threatening anyway) as I assumed all financial risk, which is my personal loss. Dalshire International promotes and accepts feedback. This decorative illustration will find it's way to a reputable charity.

Certainly a Mouthful
I wish to express my concerns regarding this Andy Warhol wannabe entitled "Mouth Above a Cocoa-Cola Bottle with a Straw on a Yellow Background". This "Warhol" lot is a decorative, reproduction, commercial print, something that you would find in a thrift store and I will explain how I came to this conclusion. It is a Warhol style Pop Art style image, but it is not an exact match any official Cocoa-Cola advertising artwork. Coke is very strict with branding. The verso certificates have no central authority unless it's from a RECONIZED source. Anyone can print a COA stamp. A COA has real weight only if it comes with a verifiable history, a recognized art foundation or estate and a reputable third-party authenticator (with a serial number you can verify). I aquired this "fakery" in June of 2025 and there is no action needed on Dalshire's end (as from prior experience, it would be argumentative and threatening anyway) as I assumed all financial risk. "A Tear of Reflection"
I am going through all my Dalshire purchases to express my concerns. This "Lichenstein" lot is fake/not authentic and I will explain how I came to this conclusion. It is a Lichtenstein-style image, but Roy Lichtenstein's works are rigorously catalogued, editioned, signed and documented, never accompanied by museum-logo certificates like those on the verso. The image is a decorative print or reproduction for decorative value only, not fine-art market value. The certificates on the verso are fake, not museum-certified, not an authenticated Roy Lichtensten, not something MoMo, NGA, or Kroller-Muller would endorse. Lichtenstein very often did NOT sign works on paper, on the front at all. The framing was done cheaply, the only musuem quality aspect about it was the use of acid-free matting. The image was adhered to the base mat board with double-sided tape and the glass used is basic and NOT UV treated. The described cosignment information, "a private party from Eastern Europe" can be contested and appears on practically all their art auction pieces. The best part of the item description is the fact that Dalshire believes and promotes a ridiculous, over-inflated, secondary auction market estimate for this piece between $20k to $35k. I aquired this "fakery" in July of 2025 and there is no action needed on Dalshire's end (as from prior experience, it would be argumentative and threatening anyway) as I assumed all financial risk. Not hooked on "I'm Hooked"
I am going through all my Dalshire purchases to express my concerns. This "Lichenstein" lot is completely 100 % fake and I will explain how I came to this conclusion. The image is a medium mismatch, Lichtenstein did NOT typically do finished cartoon panels like this as watercolor-on-paper orginals in the mid 1960's. His works from this period were oil & magna on canvas, prints and preparatory drawings that look very different. The image outlines look illustrative and fluid, not mechicanical. Lichtenstein was obsessive about uniform line weight, hard edges and delibrate mechanical impersonality. The certificates on the verso are fake. Christie's does not affix labels to artwork as proof of authenticity. Presence of a Christie's label add zero authentication value. The Guggenheim label is the biggest red flag. The Guggenheim label is inconsistent with their collection practices and does not issue permanent object labels on works leaving their collection. Auction houses do not endorse works via backing labels as they are easy to reproduce. Lichtenstein very often did NOT sign works on paper, on the front at all. The framing was done cheaply, the only musuem quality aspect about it was the use of acid-free matting. The image was adhered to the base mat board with double-sided tape and the glass used is basic and NOT UV treated. Bathroom Art
After having a negative experience, from a different auction lot, I am going through all my Dalshire purchases to express my concerns. This "Dali" lot is purely 100 % fake and I will explain how I came to this conclusion. The image is nothing more than souvenir quality, not a documented, catalogued Dali work. The gallery/auction house/musuems certificate on the verso are fake. Christie's does not issue generic certificates, they are extremely careful with branding and the cert layout is inconsistent with real Christie's documentation. The Mus'ee d 'Orsay does not authenticate or certify Dali works, and it would never as a private COA. Salvador Dali Archives LTD is frequenttly see on questionable certificates. It is NOT the same as the officially recognized Dali authentication bodies. Random stamps + signatures + institutions all on one page = classic overload fake COA tactic. The artist signature was widley forged and the signature alone does not establish authenticity without a recognized catalogue raisonne' reference. Bottom line, this Dali "mixed media on heavy card stock" is NOT museum-authentic, the certificates are not credible and almost certainly an unauthorized print. The framing was done cheaply, the only musuem quality aspect about it was the use of acid-free matting. The image was adhered to the base mat board with double-sided tape and the glass used is basic and NOT UV treated. The described cosignment information, "a private party from Eastern Europe" is completely bogus and appears on partically all their art auction pieces. The best part of the item description is the fact that Dalshire believes and promotes ridiculous, over-inflated, secondary auction market estimate for this piece between $10k to $18k. I aquired this "fakery" in July of 2025 and there is no action needed on Dalshire's end (as from prior experience, it would be argumentative and threatening anyway) as I assumed the financial risk. AVOID THIS AUCTION HOUSE
THERE WAS NO RESPONSE TO MY EMAILS TO THEM AND LIVE AUCTIONEERS CSR TRIED TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM BUT NO REPLY. THEY JUST TRIED TO GET THE MONEY. I BELIEVE I WAS CHARGED INAPPROPRIATELY NOT IN ACCORDANCE WITH INCREMENTAL BIDDING PROCESS AND I REQUESTED AN ITEM CANCELATION. DON’T EVER PLACE AN ABSENTEE BID WITH THEM, THEY WILL ROB YOU! THEY SELL BRANDED WATCHES MADE IN CHINA OR UNKNOWN PROVENANCE AND THEY ESTIMATE THEIR VALUE 100 TIMES MORE THAN ARE WORTH, AS SUCH SIMILAR WATCHES SELL AT VERY LOW PRICES HERE AND EBAY. DALSHIRE INTERNATIONAL EXPERTS IN OVERPRICED OVERESTIMATED CHINESE COUNTERFEIT COPIES OF WESTERN BRANDS. SOME OF THEIR MERCHANDISE SAY MADE IN CHINA OTHER, NOTHING... BUT THEY ESTIMATE VALUE IN THE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS... ABSURD SCAM! AVOID DALSHIRE! THERE ARE LOTS OF NEGATIVE REVIEWS HERE AND SO ON GOOGLE... SOME OF MY CONCERNS: Misrepresentation: Incorrect description or valuation of goods/property. Issues with unknown origins or dishonest practices. • A property or product is mis-valued or over-valuation. • A property or product is described incorrectly/misdescription of goods. • The property or product is from unknown origins-Failing to correctly identify the origins or authorship of a good. Dalshire estimated values for watches of questionable provenance are highly over exaggerated and misleading: estimated value of $2000-$4000 ?!) when similar watches selling on live auctioneers and ebay for $40-$60? This is dishonest, deceiving, unfair, unethical and misleading.

They refuse to respond to my questions
I bid on and won an item. They had no problem taking my money to pay for it but now they won't send me the item nor do they respond to my emails. The whole auction was suspicious to begin with. I bid with them before and didn't have this problem before so I thought they were legitimate. I should have read the reviews. I've now reached out for legal advice as I can't help but to believe they don't want to send me the item because of the price I won the item at. I bet if I ask for my money back they won't hesitate, so now I'm seeking legal advice on how to actually obtain the item. The worst part is they've auctioned off three similar items in three similar auctions after the auction I won mine in. I would say not to trust this company to adhere to their own terms.

Warning: This Auction House Steals Your Money
For background, I have extensive experience buying items from several auction houses using the Live Auctioneers platform. When I purchase an item, I pay for it promptly and typically receive it within a few weeks. I think anyone considering participating in an auction with Dalshire International should be very aware of how unprofessional the business and it's owners John and Carroll are. On 4/30/25 I purchased three items in a Dalshire auction and paid for them in full with a wire transfer of $12, 666.45 on 5/2/25. After 5 months went by and none of the items were delivered, despite repeated attempts by phone, e-mail, and text to the owners, I cancelled the orders and asked for the prompt return of my funds. 3 months later, with further attempts to communicate and involving Live Auctioneers, my $12, 666.45 has not been returned. John and Carroll are ignoring all requests for repayment, and on the rare occasion they are reached, they use a multitude of excuses for not running their business professionally-moved locations, request is with our treasurer, pointing the finger at each other or others, etc. What the public needs to be aware of is Dalshire and its owners are behaving as if they are in financial trouble and can't afford to return my $12, 666.45. This fact alone should give anyone pause to do business with them, because once funds are sent to pay for something its a veritable "black hole" to get them back. My advice-avoid the trouble entirely and don't participate in their auctions. I have implored Live Auctioneers to ban them from holding any future auctions until they make good on the money they owed their customers. By not delivering items purchased and then holding my funds for almost 9 months now, they are effectively stealing from their customers. Be forewarned!

This was my first time purchasing from this auction house. Item description was accurate, packed perfectly, and seemed to ship the next day. It arrived in perfect condition and looked better than it did in the photos. Very happy with my experience. I would purchase from them again. I also want to note that as a professional in the art world, I appreciate when an artwork is described accurately and honestly. While I purchased a simple work on paper, it was still packed professionally. One would be surprised how often (sometimes very expensive) art is just thrown into a box. I can’t speak to the other art in this auction but the work I received was sold, described, and handled professionally. Thank you.
