The piece had a major repaired break which was not apparent in the photos due to the camaflouged paint at the repair. The damage was mistakenly missed by the auction house and not mentioned in the description. After initial misques, the auction house offered to refund my costs including bid amount, buyer premium, and shipping costs.

Items were described perfectly, stored safety and pick up was easy. They even helped to assist during pick up which is always a nice touch. Thank you! Can’t wait for your next auction!

Shipping can frequently be a problem in buying antiques from dar-away auctions. Not with these people. They have a strong relationship with the local UPS-and UPS responds in kind. My item was picked up and packed immediately, and delivered promptly at a very reasonable rate. This is a very professional operation.

Very nice people. We drive 1 1/2 hours to view items. It is so nice to not have to pay shipping. The last item was amazing and turned out much more beautiful than expected after I touched it up. They load so carefully. I will look at their items in the future. We bought a really nice desk from Maine. It took months to get it. With Broken Arch, we win and pick it up the next day.

You never know what will show up next at Broken Arch-but that's the fun of it. We're purchased all kinds of items over the years, most notably, antique furniture. This family-run business appreciates their customers. Responsive to questions and helping with delivery of purchases. We always look forward to these auctions and are always on the lookout for unique items to decorate our 1855 home in East Tennessee. We've never been disappointed!
