Floating World Auctions from the print dealer Floating World in Chicago is a fine business. I've been dealing with them for over 2 decades. On The Auctions with liveauctioneers, it continues to be a fine dealer.

I received a timely invoice. There was an extra charge for credit card usage but they offered several other no-fee options. The item was shipped quickly and packaged very well.

Every purchase I have made from Floating World Galleries has been an excellent experience, from their knowledge of various print artists to the accuracy of their print descriptions. Prints are carefully packaged and shipped quickly. I would always recommend them as great to deal with when it comes to anything regarding Japanese woodblock prints.

I've been participating in auctions by Floating World Auctions or buying directly from Floating World Gallery for several years now. I always get excellent, very personalize service. This time Roberta coordinated with all those who won items to correct a billing issue caused by LiveAuctioneers, making sure that those of us who preferred not to pay by credit card had that option. She also worked with me to deal with holding off shipping until I was back home from an extended vacation. I also appreciate the care they take to pack prints well, and that they do it in-house (so convenient for buyers). I'll keep participating in their auctions, and hope one day to visit their gallery in Chicago.

I contacted the company after there was a small snafu with payment. The owner of the business was incredibly helpful in offering a solution in a timely, kind, and efficient manner and even included a personal note in the packaging of my print. It’s nice to know there are still some businesses doing things right by the customer. I highly recommend buying Japanese prints through this auction house, and intend to purchase through them again the next time I am able. 10/10

I've been participating in their on-line auctions and also buying from their website for several years. The items purchased are consistently as described and accurately photographed. They have an interesting array of periods and styles of Japanese prints. Owners and staff cordial and well organized. I like that they give your options on payment (credit card for a fee to cover their cost is an option).

Roberta was fantastic.

I recently bought from 2 different auctions, and was pleased with my experiences. I bid very high but was able to secure the item for less money in the first auction. In the second, I placed a low bid and was also the winner. This auction cost more in shipping as it was across the country and I purchased 3 porcelain 18th century dishes.
