If an American citizen is paying VAT for shipping; we should have the means to request a VAT refund. I did not have to pay VAT for shipping on auctions for any other EU member state for auctions and if I did the auction houses are hiding it in the fine print. At any rate, if an auction house in the EU is charging VAT for American citizens, they should provide paperwork or provide means electronically for us to receive the VAT back due to our citizen status.

Clocks was broken while in description no any mention about it. I have bought item vialiveauctioneers.com and when courier picked up goods he noticed that there are 3 serious damages on clocks. Auctioneer said that "The damage on the column could be from the age, I cannot see that. The damage on top was not there, I think this was damaged during the transport". My courier made photos before pickup and send me-so it ` s not true. It ` s not honest to deceive buyers. I prefer not to make deal in future with this auction house.

Very friendly and helpful. They went way beyond my expectations in regards to the in-house international shipping during COVID-19. My item was packaged extremely well with absolutely zero surprises as far as item condition. I'll definitely participate in their auctions in the future.

Love working and buying from this auction house. At first a bit hesitant because they are located in Europe but they are wonderful to work with. Shipping was delayed (due to Covid). Upon arrival I had issues with two items and Peter at the auction house fixed the problem immediately. Packing of my items was done very very well. I wish more auction houses would operate with the professionalism, integrity and timeliness of this company!! I highly recommend!!

I didn't question the description of the pieces in a particular lot. Some were 18thC and some were 21stC. Because of the description being in a language I don't read, I missed this discrepancy. Ask questions! After sale service and shipping were excellent!

Very professional auction house and excellent service. Answered all questions promptly. And packing and shipping was the best!! I have purchased from many many auction houses and NEVER received excellent service, packing and shipping this this. Was leery at first because they were from overseas but I wish I bought more items!
