The lots I purchased from Ledbetter were of excellent quality and as described. I spoke with Matt regarding payment and shipping. He was very responsive and I received my shipments in excellent condition and in a timely manner. The prices Matt quoted for shipping were reasonable and fair.

I just received a survey from LiveShipping regarding ‘ my experience ’ with a purchase made in which I selected ‘ in house shipping, ’ not LiveShipping. Which is it-in house shipping or LiveShipping, because it surely cannot be both. That is misrepresentation, which I don’t appreciate as someone who historically maintains excellent relationships with the houses with which she bids. Trust is earned over time, but shattered in an instant. Additionally, if the OWNER of ANY establishment feels the need to SCREAM at a repeat customer over a question regarding shipping, I will absolutely question your professionalism and your ethics. This is demeaning-why would anyone put themselves through THAT more than once! I have never been treated so horribly by an auction house before, and that is actually saying a lot. What I am NOT saying about my experience here-and I NEVER leave public reviews but am making an exception-should speak louder than any words. And, of course I expect said proprietor to craft quite the response to this review; check out the responses to the one star reviews, not the five star reviews, if you really want to see what someone is about. So much more to say, but Ledbetter doesn’t deserve any more of my time. But I do thank him for his attention to this matter, as he has made me SO aware of how valuable it is! Thank you, Matt, for taking the time to be up front about basic shipping! Is it FedEx is it UPS is it USPS? I have to chase down a tracking number-no problem-not the first time! This is however the VERY first time anyone has said ‘ choose in house shipping ’ not LiveShipping for a ‘ more reasonable rate ’-it so turns out they are one and the same. Hot business tip: be up front, it does wonders for the time you spend complaining about confused customers and how much time it’s ’ costing you ’ and ‘ that people can’t follow basic instructions regarding choosing in house shipping ’-what a waste of time, money, and energy.

One of the best auction houses. Everyone I dealt with was great. Everything was as easy as it can be. Shipping was fast, well packed and very reasonable, and that is very much appreciated. Seems no adays everyone wants to gouge you on shipping. Nice to fine these folks that make buying online a happy experience and not something to regret. Thank you very much.
