Poor shipping that was very expensive.
I won a small but heavy item and a very light quilt. The heavy item was in a USPS flat rate that would cost $14 to ship. The shipper put the USPS in another and shipped it UPS which cost $47 by weight! I will avoid their auctions in the future.

I thought the shipping was too expensive. The US post office is more cost effective

Hello Teresa! Actually, we calculate out the best and most cost effective label for every winning bidder. Your parcel weighed 16 # and measured 20x18x8. As an "oversized" parcel, it doesn't qualify for Flat Rate Priority and your options where either a $43.35 label (before insurance) for 2-Day Priority or $36.55 label (before insurance) for USPS Ground. UPS was significantly cheaper and let us ship your item with handling and full insurance for less than the Priority label cost alone. Thank you so much for bidding with us!

No information on item just pictures.
I was disappointed to find out that the lantern I purchased had holes in the tank and when you put the lamp oil in it would leak out. Now I find out it will cost more than I paid for the lamp to get it working. There should have been more information about the lamp available. From the pictures only it looked like it was in good shape. If the lamp has not been tested for leaks and is assumed to be non functional they should say that. I assumed from the pictures that it was functional, that's why I bid on it. If I knew it was not functional I would have not bid on it. I am not happy that it will cost more than I paid for it to make it work with out leaking. I will not be bidding on this type of item or any item with out more information.
