I won a Rolleiflex camera (€850, Lot 0349) but never received proper winning notifications, which led to delayed payment. Instead of addressing their notification failure professionally, they immediately sent threatening emails about "legal action" and debt collection agencies, demanding additional fees of €171 plus storage costs. The item description was also misleading-the leather case had significant hidden scratches and damage not mentioned or visible in their photos. It appeared to conceal defects that only became apparent upon receipt. Their collection approach was unnecessarily aggressive and intimidating. Management (Camille) personally sent threatening emails rather than simply calling to resolve what was clearly a communication issue on their end. The whole experience seemed focused on additional fees through intimidation tactics. Would strongly advise other bidders to be extremely cautious with this auction house. Verify all contact details carefully and inspect photos closely for potential hidden damage.
