During his extensive career navigating the dynamic economic landscape of Southeast Asia, the consignor cultivated a deep passion for the region's rich artistic heritage—amassing works that reflect Indonesia's vibrant cultural traditions alongside influential modern and contemporary expressions. This thoughtfully curated collection spans classical Indonesian masterpieces— including finely carved wooden sculptures, traditional textiles (such as batik and ikat), ancestral figures from Borneo and Sumatra, Wayang puppets, and ceremonial objects—to important Asian works from neighboring traditions (Chinese export porcelain with Southeast Asian provenance, Japanese prints with regional influence, and select Himalayan and Indian bronzes).
