I had an amazing experience with Lakeshore Event Center. The items were packed extremely well and with such care. Bob was incredible to work with and handled a difficult situation with much grace and understanding, forever grateful!

I have both bought and sold (consigned) items through Lakeshore Event Center. All transactions and experiences I have had with them have been professional and enjoyable. I appreciate their honesty and integrity.

This was an easy, smooth transaction from start to finish.

I guess that I'm old school. After being involved with the antique trade, back some forty-five years ago (I know... a long time ago... things have changed!) there was no such thing as a buyers premium. Now... it's everywhere you go, and twenty-three percent can push an item outside of it's value, but I guess if you want the piece... you're going to pay for it no matter what! I would hope that auction houses would take a look at those numbers of 20-23-25, and I've seen 28 %. I could handle 10 to 12 %. to me that makes things just a little bit more palatable.

The staff of Lakeshore Antique Center go above and beyond to accommodate local pickup. They are friendly, personable and efficient. Communication in planning pickup is spot on!

The item was amazing, the description accurate. I used the shipping offered through Live Auctioneers and it was insanely expensive for a small, lightweight item. Lakeshore Event Center was absolutely fine!

Part of order broken beyond just “age” of item. Not even usable or repairable. Was not mentioned or shown in bidding description

Packaging for shipping purposes was not the best in protecting individual items. They were all bundled together which may have caused damage during shipping. Some items did move around within the packing material as they were in transit. Fortunately, as with some very old medals whose ribbons are tattered if not torn apart due to movement within the packing material, did not occur for most of the items. One medal had the ribbon almost torn in two, but I couldn't tell the exact condition prior to shipping in the item listing.
