Taishoo International Auction claimed a map was “old” but upon receipt, it’s clearly more like a gift shop reproduction. My conclusion was confirmed by an international antique map dealer. Taishoo was easily reached when I arranged to settle payment, but afterwards, when Live Auctioneers and I attempted to contact them, Taishoo fell silent. I lost thousands in this transaction. Taishoo tarnishes Live Auctioneers reputation as well. I urge you to avoid Taishoo!
