The business originally started as an authentic old-time Trading Post which can trace its roots back to 1877 in Arizona. We are located in the historic Wickenburg, AZ (team roping capital of the world) and specialize in Western Americana, Vintage Turquoise Jewelry, Firearms, Southwestern Antiques and Art and other collectibles. We hold several auctions throughout the year, including monthly auctions and periodic specialty auctions. We are very honored and blessed to have set a couple of WORLD AUCTION RECORDS in various genre categories! We offer a number of ways to bid at the auctions including in person, absentee, by phone, or simulcast online. This auction features an exceptional collection of fine jewelry, Western Americana, and Native Americana. Highlights include a phenomenal early 1900s handmade squash blossom necklace, a Charles Loloma sterling silver and turquoise bolo tie, and a rare set of eight sterling silver flush inlay conchos by Lambert Homer and Roger Skeet, dating from the 1930s to 1950s, along with many other outstanding pieces. The Western Americana offerings are equally striking, showcasing an extra fancy parade saddle adorned with intricate accents and Chief?s head themed embellishments, the original artwork Billy at the Window by Thom Ross, and a pair of number 78 Billy Klapper spurs crafted in the 1990s. The Native Americana selection is equally impressive, featuring an extremely fine all natural Two Grey Hills rug highlighted in The Master Weavers book, a remarkable story basket by Sally Black (1995), and a phenomenal pair of fully beaded Plains moccasins with stand, among other exceptional works. The weaponry is also notable, featuring standout pieces such as an Original Henry Rifle Second Model Circa 1864, very fine condition M1886 Winchester Rifle .45/90 Cal circa 1893, Rare M1855 Colt Revolving Rifle (Late 1850s) and Rare WW2 (Circa 1935-1941) Eickhorn German Government Official Dagger with sheath. All-in-all, no overall complaints.
USPS Shipping charges were substantially higher than expected. Also, while aware of Buyer Premium charges, not everyone would be aware of them until final bill/invoice. Will use them again!
