This was an easy auction except there were many art pieces I like a lot I purchased two paintings and love them even more in person. Great selection for nature lovers. Recommend this place highly.

I am a dealer and I ship/receive many pieces of artwork. The estimate for the in-house shipping was fair. When I received the painting, I was very impressed. The box (strongbox) had a carrying handle, was very easy to open and the interior had custom fitted pieces of foam with a void left in center for the bubble wrapped painting. Excellent protection for the painting in its journey. Also, VERY easy to unpack. NO awful peanuts, a minimal amount (thank you!) of packing tape. Frankly, I can re-use the entire packaging. I had the painting out of the box unpacked and in my hands in 5 minutes. In flawless condition.

I am very happy with my won lot and was very pleased with the excellent service provided by the auction house.

I had a question about payment and shipping. This was a large piece that had to be shipped from WYO to TX. They responded quickly to questions, and shipped the piece in a very well-protected box. I'm pleased with my purchase and the transaction!

I have purchased several pieces previously from JHAA before and was always satisfied with my purchases. This year I purchase an original Jim Norton painting that I liked. Unfortunately, when it arrives the painting was loose in the frame and slid from right to left. There was also some damage to the paint in the corners where this occurred. I called JHAA and discussed my issues and sent pictures of the damage as requested. The response I got was it was fine when it left here and I could have traveled to the gallery to inspect the painting before purchasing. Not a satisfactory conclusion to my discussion. I don't think I will be purchasing form them again with this type of customer service.
