Extremely slow to ship and to provide information about whereabouts. Weeks of talking with Liveauctioneers help desk. Finally received after two months. Was supposed to be a gift for birthday-long past. Becareful of the seller.

I must be allowed to ask the question: Where is the seriousness of this auction house, when it says that "this painting comes with a COA"-this means "Certificate of Authenticity." This is a document that confirms that a work of art is genuine. It describes, among other things, the artist, title, year, technique, edition, and signature, and clearly links the work to the creator. I bought 4 paintings, and all had, as a quality stamp, a COA. But it was not shown in the picture, which I understand, because it says in these COAs: This artwork is unique, authentic, original painting. All copyrights and reproduction rights are reserved to the artist. This means that the artwork can be genuine. And it is an info: Buyers are encouraged to seek independent expert advice regarding the authenticity, condition, and value of any item before placing a bid. This must mean that either the painting is genuine, but it could be that there is an artist who painted almost the same, but all the paintings are signed by the artist, so then it could be a forgery and it is something completely different from an artist who paints almost the same. Is that correct?

my first time bidding had alot of questions and issues which for the most part were answered on the front end HOWEVER once i got the win and had a few questions about how the money ect worked it was crickets no response!!! and because i had no clue on shipping i paid for them to ship at 3x what any normal place would charge so be warned!!! and all the extra fees for doing business that should be under their selling commission you end up paying alot more then your bid so be warned!!!
