reached out multiple times and even tried calling, but the phone number doesn’t work. They never followed up regarding my item, which is really frustrating. I’d strongly recommend reading other reviews before making a purchase here.

Headline says it all. Liveauctioneers was not helpful at all. Should be able to give no stars.

I bid based on the item description, which was incomplete at best and deliberately misleading at worst. I left messages for the auction house at all the phone numbers/emails listed, but contact was not made until 2 weeks following automatic payment from LiveAuctioneers. The auction house admitted that the description was not accurate and was missing important information. I specifically asked for the item NOT to be shipped, but it was anyway. I returned the item unopened, relying on the auction house's word that they would refund the payment. Despite several direct conversations, the auction house has NOT processed a refund and has taken my money. I was forced to file a dispute with LiveAuctioneers, and they had no luck contacting the auction house, suspending their ability to list additional items. Hopefully, that will stop any problems for future bidders.

I won this item where it was published that payment would be through LiveAuctioneers. Auction house then requested a check when payment could not be made through platform. LiveAuctioneers advised that they have been banned. Not reliable. I asked to cancel the sale as their terms changed and LiveAuctioneers could not offer proof BEWARE.

Purchased 2 prints and for weeks the auction house was unresponsive. Its now been months and still haven't received my prints. I've emailed, texted, and called without any responsive. They stolen my money and my only recourse is to file a police report for stolen items and try to get my money back through insurance.

Won an auction in late March, paid for the item and confirmed shipping but then haven't heard anything from the auction house. I have tried emailing with questions and concerns but haven't heard back. I tried messaging via LiveAuctioneers and no response. I've tried calling Montclaire but the number goes straight to voicemail and the mailbox is full and I cannot leave a message. Reading other recent reviews it appears that some people may have received items but many are questioning their authenticity. It's been a month and I haven't received the item and even if I get my item I will be highly skeptical it is genuine. Buyer beware, avoid this place.

Bad experience they sale fake pieces, all the pieces I won are fake, they made it seem like they were all signed prints from the artist, the signatures are not from the artist they are forged. Stay away from this Auction House.

I won lithograph of Barnett Newman in auction at 26 february, but expert researched that and paper is not lithograph but just inkjet print without any value! I was contact at Barnett Newman foundantion and they response me, that Barnett Newman lithography did not sign at plate! So now I ´ m waiting when will they refund my money, but auction house do not communicate...

Auctioned bad copies of business cards. Very dissatisfied. Do no recommend at all.

The items I received were cheap poor quality laser printed copies of what was advertised. I cannot see any explanation other than that the seller is a fraud. Should be penalized and removed from the platform.

Don't ever trust their descriptions: pure lies. My worst experience on liveauctioneers (they don't help in this case). I was supposed to buy signed lithographs. I received poster instead!!!

Just piggybacking on the other two reviews here after getting the item I won from Montclaire. The quality is very disappointing. Sure, expectations need to be kept in check with an offset litho, but the item I received is really just a poster. It was packaged in such a way that ended up creasing + dimpling the print. I live nearby the stated location of the auction house and both called and emailed to try and pick up the item in person to avoid shipping, but was never able to get in touch before the LiveAuctioneers auto pay kicked in and ordered with shipping (the actual item ended up being tracked from Florida, so moot point anyway). I did eventually get a message from the owner with shipping info (about two weeks after the auction ended), but still disappointed with the communication and shipping experience overall. Combined with the poor item quality I will certainly avoid this vendor at all costs.

I bought a photograph from Montclaire Auctions, and was initially disappointed with my purchase. I thought the quality of the print was pretty poor considering the cost, and I let the auction house know that in my review. The owner (Billy) immediately emailed me and left me a voicemail stating how bad he felt that I wasn't happy with my purchase/experience and that he wanted to make it right. When I called him back, he was very understanding and kind. He talked about his business, asked for feedback on how to improve the customer experience, gave me multiple options of what he can do to make me feel better (including a full refund), and was just generally and genuinely adamant that he wanted to improve so customers are always really happy when their item arrives. Previously, I didn't think I would order from this auction house again, but now I will buy from them again if I see another item I like, if only to support Billy's business. He is a small business owner, and I wish him all the best growing his company. Thank you for your help!
