Edna Hibel

Known for her Impressionist artworks, Edna Hibel was a great American artist, who lived from 1917 to 2014. Her career as a painter, lithographer and colorist lasted more than 60 years. When she was nine years old, she began experimenting with watercolors on paintings and soon realized that she wanted to become a painter. Her artistic style has been described as Classical Impressionistic, as she was deeply influenced by the work of Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Claude Monet and Mary Cassatt.
