LAUREN Galleries is honored and proud to offer estate of DR. Wu Guozhen (吳國楨; October 21, 1903-June 6, 1984) . Doctor Wu was the mayor of Shanghai and the governor of Taiwan. DR. Wu's remarkable collection has paintings from the Ming, Qing, and Song Dynasties. Artists include Zhang Daqian, Lang Shining, Qi Baishi, Yu Youren, Wang Hui, Wu Hufan, Xu Beihong, Huang Junbi, and many famous artists, that are vastly sought after by museums and private collectors, as well as 900-year-old Su Dongbo calligraphy painting from the Song Dynasty. The allurement and condition of these items is simply amazing, the value to add one of these items into your collection is immeasurable.
