Day 1 or our four day Fall Auction Weekend focuses on important artifacts from early Native American and Oceanic civilizations, including pieces from Pre-Columbian, Taino, Mound Builders, and Polynesian peoples. Highlighted will be large and important collections of early Indonesian kris or knife handles and archaic Native American pieces from the Midwestern states.
EARLY NEW GUINEA TOOL: 19th c. Woodworking Adze, in hardwood with crudely forged T-shaped iron blade, fiber and rattan bindings, 26" long, 6" x 6 1/2" blade. Good condition.
