Large detail images for each item, taken from all possible angles and in impeccable quality, can be viewed here https://www.zacke.at/en/collection/23495/auction-fine-chinese-art-japanese-and-buddhist-art-december-8th-2018-1pm-cet The sale encompasses 256 lots of carefully selected and curated Chinese Works of Art from categories such as cloisonné, jade, hardstone carvings, organic materials, bronzes, porcelains and ceramics, paintings, glass and textiles. Among the most noteworthy are the ?Doris Duke? sacrificial-blue conical porcelain bowl, Young Zheng mark and period (lot 96), a fine porcelain figure of ?Li Tie Guai? by Zeng Long Sheng (lot153) and an impressive parcel-gilt bronze censer from Hu Wen Ming of Wan Li period (lot 54). Within the thoughtfully chosen group of Chinese Snuff Bottles (lots 170-219), we find an extremely rare ?Celestial Eye? reverse intaglio agate snuff bottle (lot 79), which is the only example known to the author ?Cameo Ink-play Master? that is entirely executed in reverse intaglio. Among the group of Buddhist sculptures are a very large Limestone stele of a Devi, Nepal, 14th ? 15th century (lot 71) and an important gilt bronze figure of Buddha, 16th century (lot 65). The Japanese works of art section surprises the connoisseur with an important gilt and polychromed wood figure of Aizen Myo-o, Muromachi period (lot223). Further highlights are a kakejiku scroll of monkeys by Mori Sosen (lot 252) and an excellent bronze statue of Daruma, 17th/18th century (lot222).
