1) PAYMENT: Payment must be made in full by Paypal, money order, Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express, or approved Check. This payment must be made with-in 10 days following the completion of the sale. Place a bid only if you are serious about buying the item. If you are the successful and winning bidder, you have entered into a legally binding contract to purchase the property bid on from the seller. You should contact the seller to resolve any questions before bidding. A 17% Buyer's Fee is added to the final bid price of all items sold to internet bidders, bidding on eBay. A 5.1% Sales Tax will also be charged to Wisconsin Residents, unless you have filed the appropriate resale certificate. Auction house has the right to hold merchandise until check clears. 2) CONDITION OF ITEMS SOLD: House In The Woods, Inc. strives to accurately describe all items being sold, with descriptions and photographs. All descriptions are subject to errors and omissions and should only be used as a guide. Purchasers should take advantage of inspection opportunities or email/call with specific questions to satisfy any questions they may have as to the condition, etc. of any item being offered. Photos included with each item have been reviewed for accuracy, but are not guaranteed to be correct. There shall be no warranty or guarantees expressed or implied, statutory or otherwise of any nature. All sales are final. Measurements given in description are estimates and not exact. Please remember, we sell antiques, items that have been loved and used, and normal age and wear is to be expected and not always included in the description. All items are being sold AS IS. 3) RETURNED CHECKS: If your check is returned for NSF, you will be notified immediately. A $35.00 fee will be issued and we will re-deposit your check. It is returned a second time, it will be handed over to the proper authorities. 4) SHIPPING: All shipping and handling fees will be charged to the buyer. Items are shipped with-in 14 days of payment or clearance of funds. We handle shipping and packing of smaller items in house. Furniture, Larger Items, Works of Art and specialty items are shipped through a Professional Shipping Company. We recommend a local shipping company, Pack Mail 1-262-968-4555 or 1-262-798-8280. Items may also be picked up at our gallery, in Eagle, Wisconsin, by appointment. (1-262-594-2334) Detailed shipping instructions will be included with invoice. All items are shipped US Priority Mail with delivery confirmation and insurance, unless other arrangements have been made. 5) BIDDING: We are accepting bids with eBay Live Auctioneers as a convenience to our customers, but we will not be held responsible for errors or failures to execute bids. In the event of a tie bid between an eBay Live Auctioneer bidder and a bidder at the auction house, the auctioneer will make the determination of the winner, it is not determined upon who bid first. Due to the bidding rotation at a live auction, you may want to bid one bid higher than your high bid, to insure that you would get the item in the event of a tie. We will not be held responsible for computer malfunctions, or user malfunctions during the sale. If you are the high bidder at the fall of the hammer, you will be held responsible for that purchase. 6) Bidding on any item indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. 7) INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: International buyers must pay by Paypal, US Funds. 8) Due to the sensitive nature of clocks and watches, they are all assumed to be in non-working condition. 9) Barring any unforeseen circumstances, this auction will run in numerical order based on house catalog.
