A multi-estate online auction. Featuring various items from the Vincent Price (1911-1993) collection. Vincent Price was an American actor most known for his role in horror films spanning from the 1940's to the 1980's. Additionally, personal items from important art collector David E. Bright and his wife who helped launch the Los Angeles County Museum of Art with a donation of over 20 important works. Chinese antiques owned and exhibited by St. Louis, MO Museum. This sale is to feature paintings, drawings, prints, antiques, etc that have been associated with longtime collections. Items that were also property of museums, galleries, and works which were acquired directly from the artist and their estates. Items include paintings, drawings, antiques, lamps, vases, bowls, furniture, clocks, etc. Items included in these categories are: A rare 1925 Baccarat YBRY bottle (believed to be one of just a few in existence), artwork by Francoise Gilot, Leonardo Nierman, Pedro Pablo Oliva, Georgia O'Keeffe, Zao Wou-Ki, Martin Rico y Ortega, Emile Gruppe, Ethel Mars, Marc Chagall, Giorgio de Chirico, William Scharf, Carlos Quintana, Sandu Darie, Juan Cabanas, Theodore Wahl, Imogen Cunningham, Currier & Ives, Henry Moore, Pierre Matisse Gallery, Roy Lichtenstein, Joan Miro, Pierre Bonnard, etc. Antiques and other items include: A Moroccan bone carved chest (over 200 pieces that are hand carved), bronze lamp from Bonham's auction, collection of animal head canes, wood baby piano, silver tea-pot and stand, Budweiser Cyldesdale displays, mesh purses, a rare Seth Thomas 30-day clock, archaic Chinese bronze vessel from Christie's auction, fur coats, and others.
