Paintings and drawings'. 360 works of art, paintings, drawings, graphics, sculptures and multiples from the 19th century until the present day: a rare painting 'Frosty Morning', 1933 by Otto Modersohn, important graphics by the german expressionists Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Christian Rohlfs and Otto Mueller, paintings by the COBRA-members Asger Jorn and Karel Appel as well as impressive works by Helmut Sturm and Heimrad Prem, both members of the german SPUR-group. A special part including 29 lots is dedicated to the painter Jean Visly (Hans Hermann Wislicenus) and offers a wide range of paintings, drawings, posters and exhibition catalogues from 1947 until the 70ties.
