Wright continues to present the only auction dedicated to the optimism, industriousness and innovation of American Design at mid-century. ---- Lawrence Converso established his eponymous gallery CONVERSO in 1994 and has since become one of the most prominent dealers of modern design and objects in America. Fueled by insatiable curiosity and a natural fascination with all things design, Converso is often the first to recognize major collecting areas that are otherwise overlooked. A champion of lesser-known designers and artists, he can often be credited with bringing obscure figures to the forefront. As a result, his Chicago headquarters and Los Angeles showroom are stocked with historic gems, rare finds and iconic modern designs. Wright is honored to celebrate 25 years of his remarkable vision with a dedicated auction on September 12th.
