Fabulous selection of guns. Selling for the Morty Foster Estate. in the 1970's Morty, a marine corps veteran was paralyzed in a patrol accident in Japan. Although being in a wheelchair from the age of 26, he was still an avid member of the NRA and later became an instructor as well as a review writer for the NRA. He also tested designs for several gun manufacturers. Morty was a competition shooter in both the wheelchair & standing. He competed in the 45 caliber division and won national awards for marksmanship with handguns & rifles.
This auction also includes a rare limited edition Smith & Wesson 12 pc. revolver set. All 12 revolvers are new in box, never fired, & still have original factory oil. Numbered 157 of only 500 (all matching numbers). each revolver is finely etched with depective scenes & model names. Set includes a reference book on the history of firearms plus a signed blueprint for each revolver.
Also of special interest will be a fully automatic Auto Ordnance Tommy Gun. This model 1921/8 u.s. navy is being sold to settle a local estate. Class 3 license required.
