Day 1 of our three-day auction features historic ephemera and memorabilia, weaponry, Asian artifacts, and designer items. Highlights include a large Civil War era collection featuring a rare 1864 Lincoln and Johnson presidential campaign flag and 1862 album with Lincoln, Hamlin, and congressional autographs. A tin snuff box owned by Joseph Meacham, founder of the Mt. Lebanon Shaker community in 1780, will also be presented. Among the Asian group, a Ming Dynasty bronze Guanyin figure and a 19th century figural carved jade bowl stand out. There will also be ephemera and artwork from the family of spiritualist James V. Mansfield and artist John Worthington Mansfield. Finally, there are fur coats, designer handbags, rare books, and Native American artifacts. Lots 1001 - 1400.
