March 27, 2020 - Cut Glass Auction - Day 1
Woody Auction is proud to present the first live American Brilliant Cut Glass auction of 2020! Featured in this public and unreserved 2-Day auction is the collection of the late Steve Owlett of Pennsylvania. Steve gravitated to J. Hoare Cut Glass because his family tree included John Hoare, so his marvelous selection of Hoare's glassworks is well-represented. Another focus of this auction is the collection of the late Dr. Charles and Elizabeth Dudgeon of Florida, featuring some incredible items including a Dorflinger Green to Clear vase w/ Gilded Sterling top. The collection of Roger, Lois, Randy, and Deb Rasmussen of South Dakota fills out this auction with a continuation of quality throughout. Highlights in this auction include an incredible 14 punch bowls, 20 ice cream trays, 60 vases, 45 decanters, and over 60 pieces of Color! Rare patterns such as Pueblo, Wheat, Croesus, Richilieu, Coronet, Persian, and Panel all grace this auction along with a wide array of other notable patterns. Never has the statement, "We Hope to See you There!" been more appropriate! As always at Woody Auction, there are no reserves and no buyer?s premium for bidders in attendance (when paying with cash or check - a 5% convenience fee is added for all credit card transactions).
