VINTAGE/COUTURE CLOTHING FROM MUSEUMS

Our online sale of new-to-market vintage treasures come from many museums and historical societies with a few private collections added. With so many new and never-before-seen finds, this promises to be another great sale - full of surprises. Rare items offered include: two c. 1926 embroidered evening dresses by French designer Vitaldi Babani, a collection of 1960's Pucci & Halston stewardess uniforms made for Braniff Airlines, a rare and exceptional Philippe & Gaston, as well as works by House of Adair, Dior, Trigere, Chapman, Blass, Leonard, Givenchy and more. Items from the wardrobe of Katharine Hepburn come from the collection of the Kent State University Museum. These are being sold with the permission of the Estate of Katharine Hepburn for the purpose of the care, maintenance, preservation or conservation of the Hepburn Costume Collection.
