Pre-Republic period Texas maps as well as important Civil War-era maps of the United States of America. A rare and good example of the “Ptolemy Map of the World" by Johannes Schnitzer from the late 15th century. Simpson Galleries is also offering a lifetime collection of rare and complicated clocks and timepieces, featuring a very important tall case clock by E. Howard and Company circa 1870. Another highlight of this collection is a man's wristwatch by Vacheron Constantin from a private collection in San Antonio.
