Rare Books, Militaria and Curiosities

This sale includes a Collection of rare books from the 18th to the 20th century, Canadian and American items of military interest, rare maps, listed art, important artifacts, furniture, along with numerous other items of curious interest. To include but not limited to First Edition books by Ernest Hemingway, A.A. Milne, T.E. Lawrence, Emily Carr along with a diverse and interesting range of subjects to include fishing, flora and fauna, pirates and naval related, American life, early Canadian life, First Nations, military subjects, etc. Numerous paintings and etchings, including an interesting painting of "The Quarry of Outremont" (QC). Other items will include a selection of 19th century muskets and related items, a rare Roosevelt inaugural medal, two extraordinary maps of World War One used during the advance on Passchendaele, September and October 1917, numerous military medals and related military items, a very rare 14th century Iroquois clay pot, a rare Firestone Trophy from 1931, a 1930 "Miss America" pond boat, a minor collection of mechanical pens and pencils, Bulldog cigar lighter, dagger swagger stick, etc. This sale will be online only (timed auction) on liveauctioneers.com only.
