On this auctions event, we proudly offer selected antiques items from prominent provenance of Allen Barnaby (Feb 1925 - June 2019). Born at his parents? home in Des Moines Iowa He enlisted in the Marine Corp in 1943 where he saw action in various campaigns as an aircraft logistics engineer. After the war he continued his chosen career in the airline cargo and freight industry in 1997 he joined with Swissport holdings an international shipping and transportation company as director of global marketing. His employment carried him around the globe, he had a passion for old clocks as well as Asian antiques that he could restore. He was a leader in his community, serving with various charitable organizations. One of his favorites was working with young men in the Civil Air Patrol. His motto in life was ?Always look upward?. Friends and family have set up a trust to help the charities that he had been part of most of his life.
Also, few jade items from William Trunkel (1926 -November 2019). Born in Claremont and graduated from high school 1943. He served in the Army for two years and then he got a job with IBM where he worked until his retirement. His position in international product development allowed him the benefit of visiting many countries. His home in Newark was filled with love and treasures he managed to collect over several decades. He is preceded in death by his parents 2 siblings and his beloved wife.
