Annmaris Auctions is pleased to present its fall sale with a beautiful selection of Nordic Design. Amongst these lots, you will find an important variety of custom made Paavo Tynell lamps in several sizes, and a collection of Hans-Agne Jakobsson pieces, starting from an impressive chandeliers specially made for Stockmann Helsinki, to a nice collection of coloured candle holders. Besides, this sale contains a rare « Utö » table and two « Lovö » stools by the Swedish designer Axel Einar Hjorth. Some of our pieces are in their original states, such as an uncommun set of a table, stools and bench signed by Birger Hahl with their untouched fabrics from 1948, sold with their original design sketches. In the category of the seats, this sale includes an early interesting Paimio armchair by Alvar Aalto with its original bright pink paint in a perfect conservation state. On the other hand, we have an exceptionnal huge armchair coming from the hall of the international hotel in Aulanko, which was entirely designed by Matti Lampen and Märta Blomstedt 1938, in an impeccable condition.
