Terms and Conditions All bidders must register to join an auction. Bidding acknowledges full acceptance of the terms and conditions governing a sale. Mark Twain Supply reserves the right to withdraw any lot prior to sale, or reproduce images of sold items to promote the company?s auction service. While we do our best to describe lots as accurately as possible, all are offered ?as is?. Neither Mark Twain Supply, nor its consigners will be held accountable for the authenticity, authorship, provenance or warranty of any lot sold. Further, we do not guarantee an item?s identity, source or culture. This provision is particularly relevant in the case of antiquities or lots falling under the broad category of ?ethnographic?. The absence of condition information does not imply the piece is in a state either good or bad. It is up to the buyer to make a final judgement on that matter. To that end, Mark Twain Supply provides condition reports, and additional photographs and product data upon request. Our auctions have no online pay button. Winning bidders must pay by phone, email, or through a third-party system approved by the auctioneer. Once the hammer falls, it?s up to buyers to see to it that purchases arrive at the appropriate destination. While we?re not in the goods transport business, Mark Twain Supply provides shipper reconditions determined by us to be safe and reliable. Mark Twain Supply operates under these stipulations in order to protect the company, its consignors and purchasers. Our goal is to perform all tasks incumbent on online auctioneers as professionally as possible.
