Made in Mexico

Moran?s is delighted to host another Made in Mexico auction on February 9th, 2021. The auction features an important collection of Pre-Columbian vessels and figures from Jalisco, Nazca, Colima, and Veracruz. Collectors are sure to get excited about another installment from the Cindy Tietze-Hodosh and Stuart Hodosh Collection of Mexican jewelry. Fine art and sculpture offerings from Francisco Zuniga, Jose Luis Cuevas , Gustavo Montoya, Mario Uribe and Guatemalan artist Roberto Goyri all add color to the pages of the catalogue. Taxco masters William Spratling and Antonio Pineda both offer silverware, housewares and jewelry to the mix along with their contemporaries Hector Aguilar and Los Castillo. Lovely jewelry selections from Matilde Poulat (Matl) are sure to find new homes. Enrique Ledesma, Piedra y Plata, Carmen Beckman, Margot de Taxco, and Sigi Pineda are but some of the other jewelry designers to pay close attention to in Moran?s Made in Mexico auction.
