Kaminski Auctions announces their spectacular spring sale featuring fine art, antiques and decorative accessories. Of special interest will be a rare and important thirty-year collection of 18th, 19th and 20th Century Marine Art to include works by Thomas Luny, Dominic Serres, Carl Ludwig Billie, Antonio Jacobsen, E.T. Baker, Richard B. Spencer, G. Webber, Frank Wagner, L.J. Pearce and others. This collection was acquired from major galleries such as Quester Gallery, CT; Allison Gallery, NY; Donald A. Heald, NY; Hyde Park Antiques, NY; Oliphant & Co., NY; Smith Gallery, NY; Ursus Prints, NY; Marine Art Gallery, Salem, MA; Guarisco Galleries, Washington, DC; Nicholas Selmes Fine Art Dealer, London. Highlights of the sale will include 18th, 19th and 20th Century furniture such as an 18th Century Queen Anne three-tier table, an 18th Century Chippendale mahogany slant-lid desk, an early 19th Century Salem, MA, Samuel McIntire mahogany table, an important early 19th Century New York Hepplewhite mahogany dining chair, several 19th Century sea chests and more. A rare 19th Century ambrotype of Abraham Lincoln viewing Niagara Falls will be featured. Also offered will be additional examples of fine art by such artists as Brian Coole, Frederick Blakeslee, Frederick Bower, F. S. Rousseau, Atherton, Harry Gage, Hang-Mang Ho, Paul Jacoulet, Al Smith and others. An outstanding collection of hand-colored engravings and lithographs by such artists as Nicholas Huet, Dr.Robert John Thornton and Nicholas Von Jacquin will be featured. An eclectic array of fine decorative accessories and collectibles including art glass, pottery and porcelains will be featured to include Loetz art glass, Steuben art glass, cut crystal, 19th Century faience, Wedgwood, Lenox American Belleek, Rookwood pottery and Danish art pottery.
